Cooperation for cannabis research

Hemp is one of the many plants that are grown commercially almost everywhere in the world. Thanks to their social, environmental and economic benefits. Today there are more than 25,000 products made from hemp. However, very few of them have found their way into the markets. However, a collaborative agreement between the Global Hemp Group (OTCMKTS: GBHPF) and the National University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico \[UNAM\]) is likely to change this situation. It is the first such agreement for UNAM, one of the best Spanish-speaking universities in the world. This will automatically give GHC access to Latin America. The company will also have access to UNAM facilities in all 32 states of Mexico. In addition, UNAM has strong research capabilities, which will reinforce GHC's research and development efforts. The revival of significant research and development efforts around the world The 80-year ban on growing hemp was catastrophic for the cannabis industry. It left an open field for competing products. In addition, cost and technology issues have hampered the use of hemp fiber in textiles, as opportunities for extensive development are limited. But even with that, all is not lost. The revival of various industries in several countries is getting things going again. The hemp industry is one of them, and this has resulted in a bloom for the plant. Additional research and development efforts have also played an important role in the hemp textile industry in China and in hemp concrete construction in Europe. GHG says it is increasing its investments in both Mexico and Colorado to find additional business opportunities. This is also an important step in the Group's vision for the future. The company's R&D department is located in Queretaro, Mexico and works with other local groups. With the legalization of hemp in Mexico and the fact that it is grown in the country itself, fiber and hemp are now readily available.
